GB2 Online by Victor Estima
This week's Back Mount techniques are part of Week 6 of the GB2 Level Up module with Prof. Victor Estima.
To start the video, Prof. Victor has achieved Back Mount on the opponent and is hunting for the finish. However, the opponent is hand fighting to defend the choke.

Note the detail that Prof. Victor defeats the hand fighting of the opponents by using his hand to pass the opponent's hand to his non-choking hand to open the way for the collar choke grip. Many students can get to the back, but are unable to finish due to the opponent's defensive hand fighting.
VIDEO 1: Class 6B - 2 collar chokes from the back
Our 2nd video we see Prof. Victor hunting for that collar choke and knows that the opponent will expose their arms while defending their neck.
Notice how Prof. Victor uses the concept he explains "the head of the snake" to control and then trap the opponent's arm under Prof. Victor's elbow / armpit. With their arm trapped by Prof. Victor, the opponent's arm is exposed for the straight arm bar. Control to submission.
The Takeaway: Prof. Victor says "We're going to improve and keep working on this idea of before we set up any position, we are trying to cancel my partner's grip of defenses."
