Surely each of us on our journey on the mat experienced the famous feeling of being on a roller coaster. One day we were at the top, we trained very well, we left the mat exhausted but happy and satisfied.
Another day we didn’t train so well.
We often get frustrated and leave the mat dissatisfied and sometimes discouraged.
And at some point did we think about giving up Jiu-Jitsu?
Of course not. After the moment of frustration, we seek to learn again, to improve on what we are in difficulty and to better understand the game of the gentle art.
Mat lessons, life lessons.
It is exactly this roller coaster that we are living in the present moment. Despite these ups and downs, we must move on... no matter how many obstacles arise.
Now more than ever is a time to reinvent ourselves and the way we practice jiu jitsu.
Because we are Gracie Barra and we have the spirit of never giving up.
Regardless of the current circumstances in your region, remember to be strong, keep training and take the Jiu-Jitsu philosophy to as many people as you can.
As Grand Master Carlos Gracie Sr. taught us:
"Talk to all people about happiness, health, and prosperity."
Talk to you soon,
